Tube / Pipe: Technically a tube is
used to transport fluids or gases. However, pipe and tube are often
used interchangeably in steel lexicon, with a given label applied
primarily as a matter of historical use.
Seamless Tube / Pipe: Pipe made from
a solid billet, which is heated, then rotated under extreme
pressure. This rotational pressure creates an opening in the center
of the billet, which is then shaped by a mandrel to form pipe.
