Steel Reinforcing Bars or REBARS:
Rebar is common steel reinforcing bar, an important
component of reinforced concrete and reinforced masonry
structures. It is usually formed from mild steel, and is
given ridges for better frictional adhesion to the concrete.
Steel reinforcing rods are placed into concrete and masonry
construction to increase the strength of walls, floors, and
roof decks.
Bar Grade: The rating of
tension strength of the steel used to make different rods.
ASTM Grade 40 is usually used in residential construction,
while Grade 60 is often used for commercial projects
