FabTrol MRP steel fabrication management software introduced at ConMex 2009
UAE - 2009 October 6

BIM Engineering Solutions, a software and services provider of BIM technologies with a strong Middle Eastern and global presence, recently partnered with FabTrol Systems to bring the market-leading FabTrol MRP steel fabrication management software solution to the Middle Eastern market.

Fabricators at the upcoming ConMex 2009 Middle East Conference will have an opportunity to see first-hand how FabTrol MRP software:

- Automates the estimating process
- Imports 3D model data
- Provides drawing and revision management
- Integrates material management functions from nesting, purchasing, and receiving through to material usage confirmation
- Manages production planning and tracking including CNC integration and complete material traceability
- Facilitates shipping-load planning and tracking
- Exports material and production status to update the 3D model.

Tom Carpenter, FabTrol Systems’ international solutions consultant, will introduce FabTrol MRP software during ConMex’s designated Steel Fabricators’ Day on October 15th. Mr. Carpenter will provide a demonstration of the software’s estimating, drawing management, material management, production management, and shipping capabilities. He will wrap up with a presentation of case studies and a discussion of the future of BIM in steel fabrication.

According to Mr. Carpenter, “Any structural steel fabrication company can benefit greatly from FabTrol MRP’s ability to help shorten project schedules, decrease material costs, improve quality, and increase revenues. Early adopters in the region are likely to gain a strong competitive advantage.”

BIMES managing director Sabri Ismail reinforces the value of attending: “We’re excited about introducing FabTrol MRP at ConMex and are confident that the software will impact the steel fabrication industry in the Middle East as it has in so many other regions around the world.”
